    My Bentley CGT shift knob has the chrome or silver plate wearing off. See pics.

    Any idea how to best get this fixed or reconditioned? Thank you in advance!

    Embarrassed to say that it was just dirt and with soap/water tooth brush it came off in 10 seconds. Cheapest bentley fix ever.

    Would've suggested exactly that if I had read the thread earlier. The Knurling isn't worn, it was merely 'gunk' in the recesses.
