Saw it in Autofluence site. Very beautiful car and very clean. 1993 Bugatti EB110 GT Coupe For Sale | Autofluence
"Former Lamborghini engineers designed a small but potent 3.5L V12. With five valves per cylinder and four turbochargers, it was one of the most efficient engines of the 90s. Coupled with a true six speed manual, 560 hp was sent to all corners with a 70/30% rear bias. This triple differential system was ahead of its time and propelled the car to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and to a top speed of 212 mph." Which street car was more efficient hp/liter during the 1990s?
an acquired taste for sure. but i like it. except for the interior - which is mostly crap. it also does not drive that well..... but who would not like that engine !!!
According to anamera, $695,000!!! When did EB110s get so expensive?! I thought they were more like 250-350k. 1993 Bugatti EB 110 GT for sale: Anamera
The engine (especially from the inside) sounds remarkably well for a turbo V12. Always quite liked them. As a little boy I used to see one in Zandvoort occasionally, in baby blue. Interior is horrid though .
There's no coherent theme on the details and shapes of things. The interior is a disaster... like 1990s GM bad! When I look at it now, it actually looks more like a 1990s version of a Murcielago than anything! I accept its place in history, but if I was going to spend several hundred thousand on an old supercar of that generation I'd blow my money on an XJ220 and be really sorry about it...
didn't Michael Schumacher have a yellow one, when he was driving for Benneton? I always liked the EB110, and thought the Veyron just carried the design concept forward, with proper German engineering
To me, more Delorean with an attempt at a Rolls dash. But, given where we were with manufacturing processes and capabilities at the time, coupled with where the relatively limited money went for development (the engine) I can certainly accept it. IMO, it's almost as good as the 220 interior, and I think they may even share the same parts bin vents, IIRC.
If I had one I'd try and fit a diablo 6.0 dash in there. I don't think I could live with the standard dash .
