As I come across Californias during my Copart window shopping I'll post 'em in this thread.

I have no affiliation with Copart or any cars I post. I post this info simply as a PSA for anyone that might be interested today and as a record of the vehicle for future buyers.

I wonder what the story is on this? Looks like they started making repairs and just stopped halfway through. Why would you start repairs at all if you knew it was going to be totaled?

Very unusual, both cars have black armrest and tunnel

I know that's stock, but the vast majority of cars I have seen pay the crazy amount and option matching it to the seat colour

I don't like the black centre, I think it looks out of place

Does anyone know if the standard black material on the armrest is leather or PVC plastic?

I really don't see how different colour leather in three little sections is worth £1200 (maybe $1700? in USA)

I think someone in marketing at Ferrari laughs each time someone is up sold into the option

Some options are great value like contrast stitching for $500 I think is reasonable for Ferrari because so many trim areas are effected by the option, dashboard, doors, seats etc

FWIW, I just realized that each is resale red over tan. A combo of coincidence and popularity I assume.

I'm new to Copart so please excuse me, but do you need to buy the whole car as is, or can you buy bits and pieces? I see a few things I need for my car, but I don't need the entire thing...

Pretty sure you have to buy the whole car, but I'm not 100% certain.

I don't see that answered in the FAQs, http://www.copart.com/c2/copart_auto_auction_faq.html, so you might want to contact them to confirm.

Interesting that they're all front impact. I'm always so paranoid that somebody is going to rear end me. As has been previously stated , bad drivers.

Not a copart car, but www.casmiami.com (no affiliation) has a white one with right front damage.

    Copart

Given the description and appearance it seems someone has already repaired this one...
