    Hi,

I have just picked up a new Cali (ex demo) which is a December 2011 UK model, registered in May 2012.

The dealer has supplied the following manuals only:

    Owners Manual - 1st Edition November 2011
    Reference Guide - 1st Edition November 2011
Reference Guide Infotainment System - 1st Edition December 2011

(The Edition numbers are located on the back page and all manuals have a silver California Logo on a Crema background on the front cover).

I traded in my 2009 Cali and I am sure this had more manuals.

Can anyone tell me what is missing?

Isn't there usually a Sales & Service Organisation / Warranty details / Service history

Are these the manuals for a Cali 30 or would they be manuals for a late 2011 model?

I would guess the 30 manuals are different and this would be evidenced by the date within each of your manuals predating the 30

By the way : come on Cali owners where are you to confirm these simple queries !!!

    Thanks for the reply.

It would be great to get a bit more help on this.

I am sure the manuals I got were from the Cali 30. I did find some pictures of manuals for a couple of earlier Cali's which look different but would still like some confirmation and manual version dates if possible:

Took me awhile to find a quiet moment to sneak out to the car while home....

Attached is a pic of the books I received for my MY 2011 USA chassis 177XXX delivered Dec 2010. Sorry I don't know how to rotate the photo, but starting at the bottom left going counterclockwise:

    -Schedoni (vinyl?) pouch
    -USA MY2011 Owner's Manual: Code No. 83716900; Catalog No. 3743/10; 1st edition September 2010
-USA Lemon Law Notice: 10/10 edition (does not appear to have a code or catalog no.)
-USA Emissions Warranty Statement: Code 83717100; Catalog No. 3745/10
-USA Quick Reference Guide (English): Code 82378100; Catalog No. 3504/09; 1st edition June 2009
-Canadian Quick Reference Guide (French): Code 82378200; Catalog No. 3505/09; 2nd edition July 2010
-Sales and Service Organization: Code 83076800; Catalog No. 3612/09; 2nd edition February 2010
-USA Warranty and Service Book: Code 83717000; Catalog No. 3744/10; September 2010 edition
-Infotainment: not sure about the code/catalog numbers, but printed in the lower right corner of the back cover are the numbers "1864.963" and "244626"

    Hope this helps, good luck.

I didn't see this thread until Balsamina threw me the link. I guess I needed it, and a good thing too because I was also short-changed on manuals. I am missing the Quick Reference Guide and in addition for my car which has HELE, I'm also missing some sort of instructions on the HELE (stop/start) system.

This is what I got with my 2013 California 30, about 10 days ago, clockwise spiral from lower-left:

    - Ferrari North America, Inc. Roadside Assistance Program (fits in glove box pouch)
    - glove box pouch
    - Owner's Manual, U.S. and Canada Version, Model Year 2013, 1st edition, May 2012, Code n° 85051700, Catalog n° 4261/12
    - Ferrari North America 7 Year Genuine Maintenance Program (fits in glove box pouch)
    - Reference Guide Infotainment System, 1st. edition December 2011, Code n° 84764900, Catalog n° 4184/11
    - HomeLink Instructions, 1st edition, June '10, Codice n. 83693200, Catalogo n. 3739/10
    - Instructions for Battery Conditioner
    - Safety Device Booklet (covers all current Ferrari models) 1st edition, Dec. 2012, code n° 85179100, Catalog n° 4339/12
    - Warranty and Service Book, U.S. and Canada, Model Year 2013 Edizione Guigno 2012, Codice n° 85051500, Catalogo n° 4263/12 (fits in glove box pouch)

Also shown is a thicker pouch with the 2 snap-on tabs that snap on the left side of the trunk. Good place for the Owner's Manual and Reference guides.

I'll update when I receive missing documentation.

    Thanks for the help.

The manual problem is now all sorted. It turns out that the dealer had given the manuals for my car to another client. The client returned them and I now have the complete set.

Glad this helped. And 4th_gear, thanks for posting your inventory. I didn't realize there is a Homelink manual. I optioned Homelink for my car but have been too lazy to use Rick's programming instructions or go to the Homelink website to try to figure it out. Maybe I can get my dealer to spoon feed me the instructions.

There are these cool buttons located on the upper left and right of your steering wheel ... they are called HORN buttons. Pull up to your garage and press and hold one of these until the garage door opens:D. If your wife is holding a frying pan in either hand I suggest quickly using the BIG R button in the center, under the radio ... and back the hell outta there! No user manual necessary, except for the secret MAN's user manual to get your butt out of trouble with the wife and neighbors:).
