As predicted and looks a marked improvement. Part I really want to see is the all new interior and iPod system.

I think they are going to sell like Ferrari hot cakes :)

Interior looks amazing and seems like a huge improvement over the current one, I just wish they added the same manettino functions as the 458.

Front is pretty aggressive but still classy and the rear seems a little lower but I am sure most of it is visual only due to design changes.

Do you think the red lower strips at the back in the corners are brake lights or just reflectors? You can clearly see them on the blue car.

In terms of changes it reminds me a little bit of the changes made between the 550 and 575....

I am a "side profile guy". To me the side profile of a sportscar has to be sexy or otherwise it won't work. The 1st gen. Cali' look too bloated and fat. The new one reminds me of the timeless 550 Maranello and I love it.

I think there will hundreds of 1st gen. California bargains in a few months!

    agree.

to me 1st gen Cali to "T" is the difference between 348 and 355....massive improvement.

It has a classy look, quite an improvement of the "old" California. Very nice.

I like it better, it looks very good and more agressive ! Nice one but... because there is a buuuut... Why has the engine to be a turbocharged... Couldn't they put a nice atmo V8 with 550 hp ?

I'm not sure is I like the way Ferreri's engine are going in the future. Could the F12 be the last of the mohican ? As the La Ferrari is already an Hybrid... I think I'm going to cherish naturally aspirated engine even more !!! Turbo is good for Maserati because there is their history with it... But Ferrari ? Yes I know, the 288 GTO, the F40 etc... but... c'mon...

The big change is that torque is up by a monstrous 49%!

I'm with the guys who cherish the naturally aspirated engines more, but I guess you will forget about the car being turbocharged once you step on the gas! It must be a hoot!

As MisterMaranello mentioned in another thread, those torque numbers must give the gearbox a very tough time!

I wonder if the stacked exhaust on the 'old' Cali helped to make the rear seem taller? The old Cali had quite a bit of sheet metal between the rear spoiler and the rear bumper. The Cali T seems to address this in a much nicer way. The shapes seem to be broken up a bit better with the license plate area. And the more conventional quad pipes seem to aid in the rear feeling a bit more taut. A nice improvement.

Beautiful. Clearly inspired by many classic and modern Ferraris.

All I'm left wondering now is how that turbo engine will sound.

I love the side profile. Looks, sexy, light, and muscular- and very Ferrari. The front/ rear ... I can't tell from pictures.

I agree, looks more refined, better than original, which I own - but evolutionary, not revolutionary. there's nothing earth shattering here, appearance wise.

How about the elephant in the room???
Virtually no turbo lag? Is this possible and what type of power comes on when the turbos spool up??

Not bad, not great. Wish it were a little more aggressive in the front. The back is remarkably improved. It's not as radical a change visually as I would have expected. But, I do like the engine (like the engine in the Q porte also).
