All weekend with two 8 year olds in the back. Just under 5' tall and, well, I am 6'5" and was suprised on the comfort of my driving position.

Getting in and out, however, was a challenge getting past the steering column. Also I should note that these are the racing seats which have indentations where the kds can put their knees

The racing seats give you the needed extra room to transport human beings back there.

Racing seats are very comfy. Nicely padded. They give you some extra headroom too if you're tall because they sit lower than the standard seat. Can't remember from the top of my head exactly how much extra they are, guessing roughly ~$5k option. They are not the same seats as the 458 CF Racing seats if I recall correctly.

But don't forget that if you get racing seats, you can't get seat heating, and if your spouse also drives the car, because there are no electric seat motors, you can't have memorized seat settings and it is harder to adjust the seat height (must use tools). I could be wrong, but I was also under the impression that one also wouldn't be able to get an electrically adjustable steering wheel column and exterior mirrors?

Since our Cali was our first Ferrari, it was important to me that my wife could also easily enjoy driving the car, to help "justify" the purchase. We're getting racing seats in our 458. :)
