New "First Time" Ferrari Owner...

    I got bit by the bug after driving a 2013 California at the Ferrari Experience in Carmel last August. After six months of searching for a 2013 TdF California, I was presented with a choice: a used 2013 TdF California that ticked off 80% of my wish/options list, or a new 2014 TdF California that ticked off 99% of my wish/options list (local dealer told me that the buyer backed out). The asking prices of the two were very close, so I chose the new one! I saw it, liked it, bot it, and drove it home in just a couple of days. I've had for her a month now, and really love driving her. I've even let my kids (20yo & 17yo) drive her, with me riding along - it was great to see the smiles on their faces.

    Here are a few pics. The first one I sent to a few friends/family when I first brought her home, saying, "3 guesses what's in my garage?" :D

    On order are: H&R Springs/Spacers and a Capristo exhaust valve remote...

    Congratulations on your first Ferrari - you picked the right one. :D TdF on beige is a classically beautiful combination. It will be interesting to see how your car evolves with your planned upgrades. Some BEFORE and AFTER shots would be nice if you have time to make them.

    Congratulations! Looks beautiful. Did you get your car @ FoSV? We might have crossed paths at Bernardus last summer. I look forward to seeing you on the roads or at an F-car gathering sometime.

    Life is too short to wonder if you really miss those options (20%) on the other car.

    Beautiful California ... now drive the hell out of it and enjoy every moment. Taking others for rides or letting them drive is really cool. I do that all the time. Sharing the Ferrari Experience is great fun! Congratulations!
