Just Ordered my second Ferrari... Can't wait to start Driving This New Twin Turbo Beast 👍 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was at the factory today in maranello and saw the car in the flesh. I ordered one as well in March and am a current california owner. I would encourage you to upgrade the wheels. It will make the car. The standard wheels you selected are nice but they are too plain for this vehicle. I realize it's a lot of extra money for something you already get, but, trust me, it will definitely make the car. Get the forged alloy star shaped wheels. When the car arrives, you will be glad you did and may kick yourself otherwise. I don't like spending someone else's money, but in this case, it's a must
any other suggestions after seeing the actual car. I am placing the order for mine this week. thank you
Same here...just firmed up my order yesterday. This time I'm going sporty and un-original having been very much inspired by this one...Argento, two-tone roof (nero), diamond finish rims, red calipers, shields, partial chrome grill, rosso interior and a few other bits. Can't wait. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree with you 100%.... I had the best rim offered on the 14 Cali 30HS and the little time I drove it, I got 2 small bends (NY/NJ roads) It's not about the $8k, it's about not having to visit the tire shop as often..... I am going to drive the 15 Cali T daily so wanted to make sure I have the least possible issues.... Here is the 14... Image Unavailable, Please Login
On my current car I have 20" rims but not low profile. I don't think the star 20" wheels are low profile either. I just don't think you will enjoy the standard wheel and may not get as good a trade later, although trade in value is only a distant concern. Another option is the painted black 20", not the forged wheel, which are 2k less. As for the rest of the build, it looks nice. color and wheels are the real noticeable difference on any car.
Perfect, i decided to go with the standard seats instead of paying 6000 for front and rear think i will fill up with gas now. thanks Keith, glad you are back
Thanks Mitchel! BTW, here are the four different style seats from left to right, top to bottom: Standard, Daytona, Diamond, Backbone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You have impeccable taste! Also told mine is November...they must be planning a big US shipment. Patience!
Yep. Me. I also recognized that there has been two different sizes for the stitched horse on the original Cali. (very small and large) I wonder if this was a sub-option within the option "stichted horse". (?!)
Being in the embroidery and screen printing business, I doubt they have 2 .DST files for headrests. Probably, a designer changed the size at some time and they are using it. Remember this is done outside of the Ferrari factory. As to the location on the head rest, this embroidery is done while the leather is flat (cut), so if the measurement is off a little by the embroiderer, it will change the location on the headrest. There is only a finite space to put it, I also assume all the models have pretty much the same size head rest. This is just my opinion and have no basis other than it is how WE would do it.
Thanks Mitchell! Don't you feel the horse is too low based on the configurator's photos I posted above?
I just configured the Horse on the head rest, while it does seem low, it is just a configurator and may have no bearing where the horse goes. I doubt we would have any say about the horse. :0
The first one is a mid 2012. The second one is a late 2013. (smaller horse) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure I understand this. All stock 20" Cali/Cali T wheels use the same tyre size and have the same profile. The high profile tyres are on 19" rims and the low profile tyres are on 20" rims. Have you mounted aftermarket tyres with a higher aspect ratio or are they wider? Which size? The original 20" tires are 245/35R20 and 285/35R20, no matter which 20" rim you choose.
