I'm currently in the process of putting my order for the California T. Quick question for the board. My dealer is saying that the rear view camera is standard now, but when I looked at the list it wasn't listed under the standard equipment list and there was an option under equipment and traveling. Does anyone know the correct answer? Thanks!!

I paid extra as part of my order. I think sensors may be standard, not camera

For what it is worth, my Cali does not have a camera and honestly you do not need it. The vision out of the car is excellent with the top up or down

+1 rear and side vision is great. My next Cali (I've had two already) will have a front camera! After all of these miles I know where to look to avoid a concrete parking bumper but there are times that you cannot see them, like when angle parking. Same goes for the FF and I will also bet the other current models. My current Cali is unmarked on the front lower tray with 22,000+ miles but I nailed the FF front tray slightly when it was a month old :(, angle parking.

I think the rear camera is mandatory in the USA soon. Probably Ferrari's regulatory response is to make it standard and make you think your getting a deal.

yes, soon mandatory and will hurt resale if not on the car. i don't have one on my current cali but will on my next one. all it takes is one time and i can tell you its a pain

does the front camera slow down the production of the car? In other words is it available now ? is it availble with the rear, or only as part of the VIEW ?

As of a couple of weeks ago you could not order the Visibility package...the dealer order system would not accept it...I watched my salesman try to order it and the link was disabled. I was told this was due to front camera issue. As a result, I just went ahead with the rear camera only.

Get the Visibility package. I wish there was a suspension lifter option too.

Was just informed no more changes allowed, i have the rear, however, dealer stated that Ferrari could put the VIEW but wont know. Status is 10 and will not change now until mid september. If it happens great, if not, its ok, i will use my windshield and sensors.

I went with sensors only. If they throw in the rear camera as standard, great! If not, I dont need it.
