Hello, Baby on the way. So I'm looking into GT cars with a 2+2 configuration. California is at the top of the list. Would appreciate some confirmation on the below or otherwise. Thank you very much for your time. Personal Research Went to the Ferrari Store at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles today. One of the workers there, Jesse, said they haven't had any baby seats in stock for several months. But he said he sold a Ferrari Dreamway booster seat which fit a California perfectly a little bit a go to a client. Here is the link to that seat: Amazon.com : Ferrari Dreamway Hi-Back Booster Seat (Red) (29"H x 12"W x 17"D) : Child Safety Booster Car Seats : Baby Unfortunately, that seat won't help me for a few years since I need a seat tailored for 0 months to 9 months. That seat also appears to be discontinued, although there is still some stock left on the internet. I've also discovered a website -- Ferrari Baby Official Website They seem to have picked up where Ferrari left off. Maybe there was some licensing deal involved. Here is the link to the Ferrari Baby seat - Amazon.com : 2014 Ferrari Baby Beline SP 3-in-1 Car Seat in Red : Baby I am unsure if that seat can fit the California. Also, can that seat fit brand new babies? Not only unsafe, cannot imagine placeing your child like that, One bad move and the kid is a missile.
I use a Combi Kobuk booster Amazon.com : Combi Kobuk Air-Thru, Licorice : Child Safety Booster Car Seats : Baby The Radian 100 does not fit. It is awesome for the 612 though. The Britax Parkway is too tall also. I just got the official Ferrari booster but did not try it yet. For the 8 year old girl, I put nothing... Before I used a Cosco seat which looks very similar to this one: http://www.amazon.com/Cosco-High-Back-Booster-Falcon/dp/B00DDMH5DC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1408375722&sr=8-2&keywords=cosco+child+seat but it felt a bit flimsy IMHO.
Thanks you AoshichanX for this thread as I'd been through all your links before I found yours.. I wanted to share my experience. Ive spent the best part of two days trying to find a baby car seat that will fit into the back of my Cali T. My son is 2 months old. The UK (European?) manual recommends a britax romer duo. I spent one hour in a baby store trying to fit it with and without the isofix base - that the manual claims can also be used on the California - impossible. The next stage up, the Britax duo plus would also not fit because the curve in the back of the car seat pushes the car seat too far out for the isofix anchors to lock in. Im very disappointed to read that the Diono Radian 100 doesn't work as I read that because their base is only 16 inches deep, that they are the best fit. They are not available in the UK so I was looking to import from the states at a total cost of some $400.. I am now resigned to the reality that I wont be able to drive around with my boy until he's old enough to sit in a forward facing seat which is really annoying as I bought this car to be able to enjoy driving with my family and I dont like forward facing car seats. Has anyone out there tried the Britax Boulevard as that is also only available in the US. Ive no clue how to remove the base of the rear seats but I need it to be rear and not forward facing. On that topic, we fit these seats to keep our children safe in the event of an accident. Because of the overwhelming evidence that rear facing is best, Id love to find a rear facing seat that allows for babies and toddlers, but still allows someone to sit reasonably comfortably in the front passenger seat. Apologies for the rambling but Im really quite depressed by all this.
I have no direct experience with the Cali on rear facing. I was looking up some options for forward facing and could not find much information on the Cali. There were, however, a few more people talking about Porsche 911's and it's pretty tight in the back of those. I figured if it fit in the back of a 911, it should also work in the back of the Cali. Here are a few suggestions on small ones that people have used rear facing in the back of a 911. You can give them a shot. Chicco Keyfit (30 I think). Cybex Aton Combi Coccoro You may also want to check out the Cleks. Rave reviews about them and various sites talk about fitting multiple ones in the backseat. I think they're more narrow (for 3 across) than small. Several people also mentioned Britax but in my experience, those are quite large. The Britax that fit is a retired one. The Advantage. Give those a shot and if they don't work, you might want to google 911's and see if you can get any other suggestions. I really hope you can find something rear facing. As you know, much safer so I hope it works out. Good luck and let me know if anything works.
Can anyone recommend a forward facing car seat that will fit into a new california T please? Ive been patiently waiting for my son to hit 9 kgs and haven't found any isofix seats that fit.
I can understand jokes about certain things and against oneself but joking about safety and young kids is idiotic.
If you have an older kid that requires a booster seat, I use this one. Nice and compact. It seems odd that it is inflatable, but it works. My son really likes it. Fits in the back of my Porsche 997 and my 308GT4. And you can't beat the price. Amazon.com : BubbleBum Inflatable Booster Seat, Black/Silver : Child Safety Booster Car Seats : Baby
Haven't done much research on this, but this page has seats for babies up to 3-4 years old. Ferrari Seats & Accessories Original | Buy Now online at Ferrari Store Don't know if these are great options, though?
Hello, I just wanted to share that I found the car seat that fits Ferrari California T. I have a 8 months old son and tired few car seat and none of them worked except the Diono Radian (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CL9GBF0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1) I tried their other model but this one worked the best and cushion provided more comfort for my son. We have taken him on couple of rides already and we enjoy it. Hope this helps other partners who were looking for car set that fit. Oh one more thing make sure you get the protector and remove the Ferrari back seat that they stick using velcro so the car seat will fit fine.
does this one not fit the cali T? https://www.welcomemrbaby.com/cosmo-sp-ferrari-corsa.html?currency=USD&gclid=Cj0KEQjww7zHBRCToPSj_c_WjZIBEiQAj8il5MlAu1sJ8hH0QwFjQBDl5DF201g9ypql8IKW485l39IaAmpJ8P8HAQ
To follow up on this, I went ahead and bought the car seat to see if it fits since no one responded. It does fit rear facing without the base. A passenger can sit in the front seat, though it would be uncomfortable for anyone who is not small. It fits very well front facing.
This one that someone had mentioned earlier in the thread- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CL9GBF0?tag=viglink22303-20
Do you have any pics with seat fitted, I have just bought a 2012 Cali and have a 18 month old son. Thanks Jon
