    I am considering 5 year open ended vs closed ended leases to get my car.
    Apart from the lower monthly cost and the higher residual value at the end of the lease, does this kind of lease have any pitfalls I should be aware of?

    Could somebody who has undergone this process of turning the car in at 2 years (on a 5-year lease) chime in about their experience?

    Nothing that I know.

    The less u pay monthy the higher the residual.

    The less years u will keep the car before turning it in, the more you will have to pay monthly (and probably in the beginning)
