New California T

Was very lucky enough to take my F430 for service at exactly the same time Ferrari of Palm Beach was informed that they could sell this new California T that Ferrari had shipped them as a teaser to potential buyers. They tossed me the keys and said "take it for a ride". With my wife along, we were immediately hooked. The deal was made and we drove it home. A week later after a trip to DNA Concepts in Lake Park, where we have a complete detail and the Ceramic Coating applied, (I'm a huge fan of that,) back to Ferrari for front end plastic wrap, it's finally home. Quite different as compared to a 430, but it's supposed to be.

Traded the 430 and miss it already, but limited garage space.

 

DNA surface concepts. They prep the car to perfection using fairly standard polishing techniques. Then then coat the surface with 4 layers of a ceramic liquid that actually binds itself to the paint. It is absolutely amazing the results they get. I had the 430 done and Ferrari of Palm Beach are stunned by how good the car looked. They remove the wheels and do the wheels, tires with a special non greasy coating, coat the wheels, treat the leather...everything.

 

I loved the animal growl of the exhaust and the race car feel I got every time I got into the 430. But for pure pleasure, ease of driving, creature comforts and state of the art everything, I'll take the T.

And for M Guthrie, no problem with the film adhering with the ceramic coating. At least so far. It should not be a problem. Ferrari did mine with a guarantee and they knew I was having the ceramic treatment, so if it is a problem, it's theirs.
