After delay after delay only to find out the engine is bad. The car has sat in the shop since Nov 29th. Have not even driven it. Well push comes to shove and Ferrari comes through with and overnight delivery of a new T engine. ( Love to see the shipping costs ).
Pic one is the current engine yanked out of the T
Pic two is the source of the oil leak. Look at the casting and you will see an area without red
Pic three is the new engine still in crate arrived today.
So if all goes well I will be able to pick it up Friday and then unfortunately fly out of town for the next 3 weeks. At least I can put some miles on it.

Geez Martin, sorry to learn of your CaliT's engine problem.

I'm surprised and disappointed the factory did not discover the leak before your car was shipped. But I guess all's well if it ends well and you can enjoy your new baby when you return from your vacation. I hope the weather will cooperate and we'll see some photos of the new car... preferably fully-assembled. ;)
