I purchased a new California T a couple of months back and have had the opportunity to push the car a bit on my favorite serpentine back roads. The performance is beyond impressive, particularly in view of the less than complimentary views I've heard about the California over the years. The steering is quick and precise. The suspension is comfortably firm and inspires confidence. Thrust is impressive even in the lower portion of the rev band, and although the sound doesn't compare to a high revving naturally aspirated motor, it does sound good shifting at 7000 rpm with the top down. Speed is effortless and the sensation of speed is low so I have to keep an eye on the speedometer.

I did not spec the car, but the only thing I would have added is steering wheel shift lights.

Thanks for sharing. I have the same car with those same options on order except I got a two tone interior (rosso) with the diamond stitch pattern. Due in end of the month and I cannot wait. 70 degrees today where I live (Detroit area) which is top down weather. Almost got the Zo6 but I see so many Vettes around here and I have already owned several so thought I would give Ferrari a try.

Welcome to FChat Force. Is Cauley your dealer? If so what salesman did you work with? I worked with Aaron and took delivery around the first of April. Great dealer experience! I have not had a chance to put too many miles on yet and it is now in the shop for a complete EXPEL film package. My initial impressions are all great so far. I will report in fully once I get a chance to put just a few more miles on. My travel schedule has been just too frightful lately.

Thanks to all for the compliments. One subject I forgot to address in the first post is turbo lag. If the California T had a 6mt, it is possible I might be able to detect some lag. However, with a dual clutch transmission, turbo lag is imperceptible to me.
