My Cali T arrives 22nd June in Brisbane, dealer says I will have it within 6 - 8 days after that, so counting down the days. Oh yes the interior is black red stitching with the extras, CF in dash areas, CF steering wheel with leds, CarPlay, Yellow Rev Counter, Magneride, Camera's, 20" Painted Wheels, the Cali for Australia comes pretty heavily optioned as standard, options like AFS, tyre temps & pressure, adaptive Zen lights, parking sensors front & rear, etc are standard on the Cali. CF items are probably the only items I really did not really go overboard on.
Looks very nice. I am curious as to the 6-8 weeks to get it once it hits the port. Is that customs, dealer, or transport delay?
No, its 6 - 8 days once it hits the port here in Brisbane. The Cali left Italy around first week of May and arrives June 22nd in Brisbane, looks like it was a 5 week boat trip to get to Brisbane from Italy. The dealer says that they usually get there cars 3 days after they hit the Brisbane port which would be customs releasing the vehicle, then the dealer needs about 2 - 3 days to do there per-delivery?
Are your wheels light or dark, I cannot tell from the angle (not sure if I see a shadow)? I am also in the waiting mode, hope the next month is a quick one. Best, JerryW
Dark, 20", also read that Bridgestone tyres has won a contract to put there RFT's on the California T, hope it does not come with them? Also I ordered the all black front grill, and I am thinking of putting a black gloss wrap on the roof, just waiting to see what it looks like when it arrives all white first?
I love the black roof with white exterior -- it looks much more aggressive and custom to my eye. If only it was as easy as in the photo shop version! A black gloss wrap sounds like a good option versus factory, given the obscene premium for a factory black A pillar/top, and of course is nice in case you tire of the look. If you do go that route, a black carbon trunk spoiler could be a nice addition too. Beautiful car!
Both look fantastic. The black top might look more unique but doing it with a wrap later after you have lived with the all white for a while makes a lot of sense. Either way, the blackened out grille awill look aggressive and a great fit to your car especially with the darkened wheels. Please send some interior photos when you get it.
Here's a couple photos of my old Cali which is now sold. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dealer confirmed my car arrives in Brisbane on the 22nd June and should have it within 8 days, so around 2 weeks to go?
Dealer told me my Cali T is sitting at the Brisbane docks waiting for truck transport to them, then they can start pre-delivery.
