I just received my first picture today. I thought it would never come. Clearly, delivery of the pics lags behind actual production. This pic looks like Status 20 or 30 & my Cali is now at Status 50. It's great following everyone's journey from placing their order to delivery and driving. I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. Here's the configuration spec on my car:
    - External colours – metallic Nero Daytona
    - Internal colours Cuoio
    - Backbone style rear seats
    - Magneride Dual Mode suspension
    - Rims 20" forges painted rims
    - Aluminium driver&pass.footrest
    - Infotainment High power HIFI Systeme
    - Rev counter Yellow rev. counter
    - Horse stitched on headrest Filo speciale
    - Nero Carpets Nero
    - Seat type Backbone style seats
    - Brake calipers Giallo Modena brake calipers
    - Chromed front grille
    - 'Scuderia Ferrari' shields
    - AFS System
    - Full electrical seat
    - Special stitching (dist/thick) Filo speciale Nero
    - Steering wheel Carbon Fib.Steering wheel +leds
    - US Visibility Package

Ordered my 458 speciale two months ago, and just found out that I am status 40, which was updated by the factory yesterday. The "delivery date" (which is when the car leaves the factory) isn't until June 27th. Does anyone know why it takes almost 7 weeks to go from status 40 to delivery? Or will I be pleasantly surprised with a car that arrives a month earlier than expected.
Also, when can I expect my first picture from the factory?

My dealer told me the "official" delivery date is typically conservative & that I can expect the actual date to be much sooner once the car moves through the build process. I went from 40 to 50 in less than a week. My first picture came shortly after my car reached 40 and the 2nd picture came the next day. I know if feels like it will never happen. Just as I was about to give up hope I had an email from Ferrari the next morning informing me that the first pic had been posted to MyFerrari. You are very close and I suspect June 27th could improve by a couple of weeks. Keep the faith!!
