I drive about 750 miles per month, mostly city driving with an occasional 250 mile highway trip. My Cali T will arrive in about 5 weeks, should this be my daily driver or should I keep my Bentley GT as my dd (GTC/GT had been my dd for 8 years) and save the Cali T for perfect days? Or does the Cali T make your day perfect?

I traded my Bentley GTC Spped for a Cali 30 and don't regret the decision one bit...

The Bentley is a more comfortable ride but the Cali is far more responsive and in my opinion a much more enjoyable daily experience

It's like comparing chalk with cheese!!!

DD Cali T improves on perfect. It makes every work day start and end great for me. I take the long way to and from the office. It is an EXCELLENT daily driver. Sun, rain, hot, cold. I love it.

Total car wrap, UV film on the glass, no worries. Highly recommended as a DD.

    :) :) :)

My guess is that it depends on what you need from your DD. If you are on the phone a lot or in massive slow moving traffic, Bentley may be better. If being engaged is the goal, well, the Bentley may be like driving your sofa to work. The first day you drive the Cali home from work, put the top down, crank up the tunes, and let go. I'm betting you will have a smile to rival Jack Nicholson's Joker.

I would venture to say the Bentley would appear to be a better quality car then a Cali T.

Does anyone here have current models of both cars?

Is the T that much better of a car in handling-shifting etc...

Cali t is a great DD, I have 8500 miles of smiles and ZERO complaint. You want to be on the phone you have blue tooth. Should you have the top down, your call person will need to deal with it. The sound of the car, the look of the car, and the feeling of driving this is wonderful. Never had a Bentley but drove a Bentley, and drove a Rolls, as previously stated, NO COMPARISON> do not be afraid, drive it like you stole it. Just came back from 2 days on the beach with my car, the cameras never stopped shooting pics of it.

Now I am choosing a personalized plate for the California T. I am thinking of XV T or T MMXV.
T XV is not available. Any thoughts?

For your plate, how about "SHAZAM".
"SHAZAAM" is also considered an equivalent.
Word used to describe increasingly great joy, excitement or surprise.
Also used to describe a cool action or event.
I always thought of it as describing blindingly fast/quick.

Just a thought, but why not the T on Mondays and Fridays to start off the week and end the week is something a bit more exciting. The Bentley is a stunning well built car and very fast. Nothing wrong with that at all. (Actually on my bucket list of cars).
You are just having "new car itisis". I get it often.

As for a California daily driver, I put over 26,000 miles on each of two Cali's, driving all year in NW Ohio, snow and all. My first was an early 2010, my current Cali is an early 2012, and now I have a T set for a July build. From late 2011 through early 2014 I drove my daughter to and from school, 25 miles one way, every day of the week for 100 miles a day. It gave me an hour father/daughter time every day, and two hours Cali time. It never got tiring! She is in college now so those days are gone and I have to find other excuses to be on the road in my Cali (or my FF :D) Anyone want my (slightly :)) used 2012 Cali?
