Sorry to see that. I assume that's from your OEM battery tender, but doesn't your car disable ignition when the battery tender is connected to it?
I am thinking no big deal, I do not think I dasmaged (ran over) the charger. I just opened up the connector housing and reattached the wires, albeit a bit tight. On on my 201 Cali , yes the car would not start with the charger connected , this one obviously started and let me back away..... I read this before & I guess it didn't sink in. Whatever so far I think I am ok, will see tomorrow. A
I've done that but it just popped off, depends on the angle of where the cord goes, I suppose. It was formerly plugged in from the far side of the car as approached in the garage. I moved it to an outlet where I CANNOT miss that it is plugged in now.
Well I just went to put the car away for the week and I connected the charger. Now red light on the charger is on (above the light is an exclamation point - or a something is wrong point as I'm thinking). It's hard to see in the picture, but if I recall last time that red light was not lit, the other lights (amber I believe) would be lit... I wonder if I damaged something inside the car's connection unit? I'll read on it later. Anyone seen this before, or have any ideas? Thanks, I'll be back on later. Image Unavailable, Please Login
you can buy a rubber bumper for your CTEK/Ferrari charger ,so you do not need a piece of cardboard to protect it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
