First Cali T I've seen with black below the doors. I've always liked that with red, looks great. Is that panel CF?
Dave, I *think* that's just the protective tape (like on the Ferrari lettering on the boot)? Congrats, great looking car (looks just like mine, haha)!
A black sill panel would look great though. Especially in CF or a CF wrap. Can anyone do a side view rendering?
if it's not impolite to ask I'm curious, what does HK pay for COE, and road tax on this vehicle? If I buy in Singapore it comes out to about $900000 U.S., in N.Y. We pay open market value and an 8% sales tax about $275000 U.S. For a nicely equipped model J.J.
Hi all, thanks for your interesting comments. Yes, its protecting tape - this is in the end stadium of production. Biggest issue i had is to chose between yellow or red brake calipers, still not sure but i chose yellow to match the shield. Regarding price, HK is 'cheaper' then Singapore, but one still pays 100% luxury tax on top (ouch) - so double the price of the U.S. ... i think in Singapore all in is probably triple even? Buying a Ferrari in HK never makes sense, but you only live once.
+1 I did the same to go with the shields but went a step further and also added yellow stitching and cavallinos. I like it!
Congratulations I just pick up my in Taiwan last month. Funny thing is Ferrari Factory found a lady who can speak Cantonese called to Hong Kong asked me regarding Taiwan's dealer service last week.
I didn't pick Apple Car Play. Call me old school. Oh Pratas, that is quite resourceful! One thing I realized is, the sport exhaust option doesn't make the engine louder of more powerful. So, I will probably look for an after market system. Does that impact the guarantee status?
Hi NYKSwiss The sport exhaust just cosmetic and wont make the sound louder. Regarding the Apple play, Taiwan cant add this option and no navigation. It is quite strange that every new car I bought did not come with navigation available and it became standard when I sold it. My 2012 991 in HK and 2013 Bentley Continental GT in HK all without navigation. However, at the same time, navigation is the standard for most of cars from other brands.
Hi Pratas Do you know of any after market sport exhaust yet with impact on sound (power is for me less an issue)?
Hi NYKSwiss, Not heard any after market sport exhaust yet. I will double check with my friends in Taiwan to see if any good one come out. The sound is the the most disappoint part so far although I just drive twice and total just around 200KM since I pick up my car last month. Sometime it just as quite as my Bentley. Set Manettino to Sport. Manual shift. Stay between 3,000 to 6,500 RPM. Top down. Hard accelerate at 5,500 RPM or better. At 3,000 RPM in 3rd, back of the gas, hear the rolling rumble-burble... I think you will like the sound much better.
Hi Udaverea I do like to try top down, however, the weather did not allow me to do so........... One day was thunderstorm, and other was typhoon. Actually, the disappointment might due to my high expectation. Just hope Ferrari to keep the NA for coming FF/F12 facelift..... By the way, just received the message regarding the airbag recall from dealer. Do anyone know how long it will take to fix?
