I'm sure it's a problem that money can solve. It would be great to have this car on this side of the pond.
Cool to have sitting in your garage but I'd much rather keep my DCT's, they shift far faster and smoother. I drive mine every and would be very unhappy with my head bobbing back and forth.
Very observant! I thought there were only 3, maybe 4 made. They did not sell well, but this is tempting!
They didn't sell well because everyone was told by dealer "paddle shift only" ...which was probably true in USA.
Agreed - one of the major turn off's originally for me. I'm kicking myself that I didn't really argue back then. It's the main reason I stayed away and bought on the secondary market. Based on their auction estimate, I'm pissed Erik
Well if it makes you feel any better you could have argued with your dealer until your face turned blue, Ferrari still wouldn't have built you a stick shift California.
Oh I have a feeling the market value of the one with your "head bobbing back and forth" would actually make you happy.
I "tried" to order an HGTE 599 in manual and my dealer went all out to persuade me not to. Main argument - car, its systems' software, drivetrain etc etc all set up for F1 and manual drivetrain will be a disappointment - no idea if true. I got an F1.
I think it sold for €340.000 €393.360 incl. commission https://mobile.twitter.com/Artcurial/status/695620841598545921
There is at least one 2009 599 3 pedal here in the US. Probably took some yelling and screaming to get it, though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
At least one 2009 US manual 599 and at least one 2010. There has also previously been mention of 2011 car on this forum but I've never seen proof. Jonathan
