Finally got myself to stop hesitating and buying "alternatives" (AMG GT-S, Maserati GT S), and made the plunge into a Ferrari...always worried that once I get into one, I won't ever get out. We shall see.

Found this well-cared-for beauty far away from home in NYC, with a mere 2,600 miles on her.

She got loaded onto a truck this morning, and is sleeping her way up to me from Houston.

Can't wait to say hello in person this Friday or Saturday.

Drive the heck out of her Jay (after she comes up to temperature anyway). I like the diamond stitching and the wheels, beautiful Cali! There's lots of help here on FChat for the minor questions and issues you may encounter. There is nothing better then the Ferrari Experience!

Thanks Rick! I won't be shy on drawing on all your guys' experience. That said, she comes as Ferrari Approved CPO and free maintenance through 2020 (a program I was sadly unaware of previously), my mind is in peace on any potential issues and I'd have to guess that makes it probably the lowest cost to own sports car in the market, period. Amazing!

Congrats. Just sold my 2013 California after putting 8K miles on it. They are a dream to drive. Now I am trying to decide on a California T or a 458........

Congrats. I'm three weeks into the Cali ownership experience and I still have a silly grin on my face every time the rev counter starts to climb. Enjoy your car in the best of health...T

Couple things I have learned in my short ownership. The car drives much better after letting it warm up. I drive slow normally automatic till the engine is warmed up. It will run smooth. Now it gets even better as the tires warm up.

Next I have had warning lights come on twice. It says take your car to the dealer. It seems to have happened if I turned the car off, and started it again in less than 30 seconds. I ignored the warnings. In both cases, I turned the car off (after driving 10 to 20 miles), got out. Waited 15 to 30 minutes, turned key on, waited for 30 seconds, then started, waited till engine check light went off, and then drive a way. It appears the computer on a Ferrari needs to fully load. You will see post about discounting the battery to get it to reset the electronics. So don't panic if you get a warning light. Give the car some time when you turn the key on, then start, give it a little time before you drive off (let engine check go off).

You have a fantastic car. Excited to see photos of its adventures.

I also noticed that the Ferrari computer on my 2013 Cali seems to be a bit battery touchy, meaning if you don't drive it for say 2 weeks and have not had the battery tender hooked up, I tended to see the warning light . It went away after driving it and subsequent charging with the battery tender. My service guy said it was common for some of the lesser warning lights.

I put mine on the battery tender every time I park. On the California T it has a connector under the trunk lid in back. You don't have to open anything, slip it up under and a magnet connects it.

Just got her delivered this evening and a tour around NYC with the top down... Absolutely incredible... I can't wipe the grin off my face

Parked and put her PJs on...

Ps: is some condensation inside the headlights normal? Saw it on both sides

That must sound great with the exhaust sounds bouncing off the tall buildings.

    I've not seen any condensation...T
