    Covered about 300 miles in the car since the last oil change at the dealer, i'd like to check the oil level.. what is the protocol in this car , in my carburated ferrari its with engine warmed up on a level surface , same?

    My online manual says warmed up and engine off.

    I could not see anything about a level surface, but I'd imagine that's SOP. My
    Porsche manual says level surface.

    The “level surface” mention is in the second red warning box at the top of this section. Warm, level, engine off are key requirements.
