Has anyone bought extended warranty from LaSalle warranty company? They sell bumper to bumper warranty for Ferrari. Thinking of buying as it is $5,000 00 for 2 years.

My personal preference is to get a manufacturer warranty. Fewer fights about what is covered. There is a grey area with every brand, and imo Ferrari's grey area is larger than most. If you never will need the warranty, go with the cheap one :)

Check with your local Fdealer, here in Southern Ca, the dealers will not accept a third party administrator such as LaSalle. You pay the bill directly to Ferrari, then its your responsibility to collect from the carrier. Maybe different for an indie shop, if you compare oranges, for 1 year purchasing a policy from Ferrari is actually cheaper than LaSalle and no deductible. The advantages are if you purchase for 3-4 years then it becomes more advantageous to go outside of Ferrari, you have to buy the rider for an extra $1,000.00 for the DCT
