Hi there, I was wondering where the battery is located in a California? The 430 was under the dashboard in the passenger side footwell. The tender was hooked up under there. Does the Cali have a better , more convenient, place to hook up the tender? Any pictures would be helpful. Than you!

My pleasure. I've had mine for about 3 months and I'm still learning the ins and outs of the Cali. Btw, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale has the Cali owners manual online in PDF format. I have it downloaded to my iPhone...T

In the 2010 Cali, the battery was located in the front of the engine bay. The tender, in the trunk.

On the Cali aspirated models previous to the T, the tender cable hooks up inside the boot. On the right hand side of the boot there is a small door you have to open and inside you'l find the hooking point. the picture shows in which area the tender's cable should exit the boot.
When you have the tender cable installed never close the boot with a bump. Put it down gently and than the locking mechanism will take over and will close it completely.

Exactly, the engine location is the engine bay. The tender (receptacle) is behind a removable panel on the passenger side of the trunk. All this is in your owner's manual.

Here's a photo of my car's engine bay showing the battery below the 2 air intake sleeves that lead towards the red intake manifold. You can see the quick release clamp on the negative terminal.
