I'm in DFW area looking for insurance on 2010 Cali. Appreciate any advise on companies and pricing. My first estimate is a deal killer. Thanks

Allstate insures mine, as well as all my cars. About $950 every six months. I didn't really shop it so I'm not sure if I'm paying too much. Hopefully it's a useful reference point.

By the way, I have a 2014. Not sure how much that would affect the premium.

I'm in NJ where we have high premiums but with State Farm my 2016 Cali T is $1900/year whereas my 2014 458 coupe is $2500/year and my 2016 488 Spider is $2900. Hope this helps.

I talked with Hagerty and Grundy for collector car agreed value policies for a 2010 Cali. I set the value at $100k (low I know) and Hagerty wanted $2,500/yr, Grundy wanted $1,300/yr for a 2,500 mile policy. The cheapest I could find was Grundy.

Thanks all. I am in contact with Grundy. Their online pricing is terrific. SInce I have another classic car I am letting them bid on all my cars. I will let you know what happens. Right now I'm pretty excited. Why havent I heard about them before? cautiously optimistic!

i ended up with AIG insurance through Grundy. Fantastic pricing. I also included my 70 plymouth cuda for $122/yr as an add on. I am currently paying Hagerty $500/yr. Thanks for all the help

I need to call. I'm $3500 for 6 months. Maybe they quoted 12 months. Either way its high.

I can also recommend Grundy (AIG Policy). All of my collector cars have been insured through them at agreed values for 10+ years and they are very cost effective. I had switched from Hagerty as they were twice as much. While I do not have any claim experience, I have heard from other collectors that Grundy is excellent with claims.

About $800/6 months on my 2012 Cali. I'm 30yo with somewhat of a "checked" driving past. I use State Farm and couldn't be happier. They also insure my house, DD's and my GT3 so I know there are some multi-policy discounts in there as well.

Nationwide is reasonable in "High Value" car insurance. Around $ 1K per 6 mons.

I have several of my cars with State Farm, one nice thing with them, they offer a 2500 mile per year, AND a 7500 mile per year, collector car policy. Might be worth checking with them.
