So I was in a light sprinkle the other day and tried out the 2010 Cali wipers. I was under the assumption and I think the manual says the same that I and II are slow and fast steady wipe. Not so the other day, seems they're still dependant on the rain sensor?
As in no rain = no wipe in I or II
    Is this correct?
    Thanks

my car is in storage so I can't test. But I drive in the rain many times. I have really liked the behavior or the wipers.

    I thought I had 3 levels.

1 - wipes when it thinks it needs to. Auto.
    2 - slow
    3 - fast

I can push from front to go up. I can push from back to go down. I can push and hold fro the back to wash windshield.

I guess I never tried to turn them on if there is no rain.

I thought use of manual controls overrides the auto sending feature.

    From owner's manual...

The modes are off, auto, slow, fast. I've had a 2010, 2012, and now a 2016 T. I think they are all the same. Off is off, auto is somewhat dependent on rain but it even wipes when there is no rain. All three were a little sensitive to rain, meaning it went into fast mode before I wanted. Slow mode stays slow and fast mode stays fast no matter what.

Thanks for replies, sounds like I have a problem with the slow and fast wipe. Hope this is covered under my extended warranty.
