Just found a 2016 T. Sticker was $289k. Car has 4,800 miles. I can buy it for $185,000. They will give me $118,000 trade on my 2012 cali that has 7,200 miles on it. If I keep the 12, the extended warranty for 2 years would cost me $7,400.00. Any opinions. By the way, car was never titled. I would be the First owner.

    The numbers sound reasonable.

I've pondered this myself after driving a T back to back with my 2013 California 30 -- the T is noticeably faster and there are some nice visual improvements to the nose and tail of the car, as well as the instrumentation and the head unit. I can't seem to decide whether or not the day-to-day experience of the car driving on the street is quite worth the $60-70k price of admission as they do feel quite similar behind the wheel and the 2013 is certainly plenty fast enough for the street.

I have been thinking about selling my 30 to get into a 458, which would cost at least that kind of money (more for a Spider) but that's a substantially different car and experience.

    Yes go for that !
458 would be great but, as you know, the circumstances in which you would use it are wildly different.

That's a fantastic deal, if you like the spec, color, options I would jump on it! I suspect at $289,000 it has the special handling package.

If you have a 2012 that is a good trade in, if 2013 that is a little low, but that's a good price for a 2016. I think overall still a good deal especially if you have a 2012.

Probably, but we got SH, daytona seats, some carbon, and few other options for $245k MSRP. I would like to hear what all options got it to $290k!

That sounds like a good deal. It seems like the Cali T is dropping more than I would have thought this soon.

I suspect this is one of the fully loaded Rosso Corsa with Nero roof T's that were sent to all dealers last year as demos. If you look around many dealers are now selling them.

I was wondering how low they would actually sell for as having 25+ of the same car in the same spec all hitting the market would seem to create a great buyer's market. I have not seen one priced this low yet, that is a fantastic deal if it is one of these cars/spec.

As other have said, seems like a good deal. If you're first owner and it has 5 K miles, is this a demo or loaner car? If so, aren't the former usually highly spec'd?

Yeah, that seems really low for that car. I have seen the Austin dealer sit on the car for a year and he finally sold it but I don't know for how much. The dealer in SA has one with 900 miles, I didn't ask what they want for it, maybe I should. I was just looking at a new 2017 silver with the HS package and full electric and ventilated seats. It's a spec I like but I would rather skip the depreciation. Maybe I should call the SA guys and see what they are asking.

ETA: Just checked and the guys in San Antonio are asking full price for it. I don't understand how this one could be offered $104,000 below MSRP after only a year. If you don't take it, let me know how to get hold of them, I might want it. The sales guy today in Austin told me that Ferrari made each dealer eat one of these and spec'd them all like this with every concievable option so the dealers could show off all the available options in house. Makes for an over-priced Cali-T.

Called FNA today. This was a press car,,never tracked. Highly optioned with almost every option. FNA said car is perfect. Hate to get rid of the 12 but this has a full warranty until the end of 2018 and I can buy a bumper to bumper 1 year additional warranty for $4,200.00. Can't really afford to turn it down. Flying out Saturday to see the car.

Hmm..something isnt quite right with this deal. 2015s with MSRPs in the mid 240Ks are selling for the mid 180ks. The two local dealers in my area have this exact same 2016 Cali T...that is if its the Demo that each of the dealers got to show off the handling pack...Red with Black Leather - MSRP 289K. Everything is in Carbon Fiber. Roof is Black. Both of these dealers wont consider an offer under 230K.

I would think 230k is a good deal, I wonder if the guys in San Antonio would consider that. They are owned by the same person that owns Austin and lower prices seem hard to come by in Austin anyway.

I know it seems to good to be true, but I talked to FNA and they know the car and they say it's perfect., you have to go for it. Dealer said they got into the car right and they are blowing it out. Plus it's a CPO VEHICLE. I guess I was in the right place at the right time.!! About time

Indeed. Sometimes you just have to go for it. Good luck in the new Cali hunt, Doc! Hope it's all miles and smiles.

See image. I have no idea if this is accurate, but this is what a site said my options cost. I don't have HS. It is a 2015. I bought the car with 1500 miles.

My Monroney shows similar amount of options for a 2011, and I thank the original owner for ticking all the boxes he/she did!

Go for it, sounds like a lot of money for what you're getting

For what it's worth, the official Ferrari dealership in my area is also selling their ex-demo HS cars for almost half of their MSRP. They have 3 listed for sale and 2 of those 3 are 16MY with ALL of the available options I think

Bianco Avus over Rosso Ferrari interior, around 4k miles
    Original MSRP $314k asking $197k

Rosso Corsa w Nero Stellato roof over Nero Leather/Alcantara interior, 4.3k miles
    Original MSRP $294k asking $190k

Warranty till 2019, service contract till 2023 for both cars

I don't think there's anything fishy, as mentioned above most dealers are offloading these cars now so it definitely is a buyers market so you might be able to jack the price a little lower and get yourself a nice watch with the money you save...

    In any case good luck

Make sure you like the sound of that CaliT.
The dealers seem to go crazy buying back the natural aspirated V8.

The new Cali T sounds 20-30% better in my opinion than a 30. Jennie agrees.

Key phrase here is 'press car,' I think. That's 4800 miles of journalists riding it hard and putting it away wet. Not that there's anything wrong with that, and the car is warranted, but should be discounted. Be interesting to see the service history.

although later own people talk favorably about show cars, press cars maybe a little. it makes it different later on. I've heard press car mentioned as selling point for cars like TR's.
