California 30 - Handling Speciale & MagneRide

    I'm looking at a 2013 California 30. It's listed as including the Handling Speciale. How can I tell if it also has magnetorheological dampers (Delphi Magneride)? That is without just taking someone's word for it?

    A dealer can print out the build sheet which shows all options when new.

    If it has handling speciale then it has magnaride , it's part of the handling speciale package

    I thought they were two separate options originally(?).
    Granted, why would anyone order one w/o the other??

    I did a decent amount of research on this in my search for a Cali, and I ended up getting a 2013 with HS. Like mentioned above, HS was not an option until 2013, only magnaride. And 2013+ you can order magnaride or HS, HS includes magnaride and a couple other things, I think most significantly that an HS in comfort mode is similar to a non HS in sport mode.

    HS Pack includes a tweak of the MagneRide ECU so MagneRide is compulsory. Non-MagneRide Cali30s CANNOT be upgraded to HS.
