    Hello,

I'm moving back to Toronto after being gone for 10 years living in California. I'm coming back with my 360 (transportation and customs currently being handled), however I need advice in two areas.

    1. Mechanic: Are there any independent Ferrari mechanics, factory trained who work are familiarly with Ferrari's that are tracked? Any recommendations? How is Ferrari of Ontario?

    2. Audi dealer. I'm leaving my daily driver behind, (not worth shipping across countries) and looking at getting a new Audi. Anyone no-nosense that can be recommend? I don't have time to spend days negotiating on price, etc..

Thanks in advance for all the tips! Looking forward to heading out for drives with you.

I can recommend Audi of Mississauga personally. I almost purchased a pre-owned '06 A4 2.0T Quattro 6-speed from them recently, until my insurance had to be a b*tch and inform me of what my new rates would be....

I could let you know of a couple salespeople that were more than helpful. The cars are treated well, professionally detailed and meticulously inspected before you even check them out.

    Let me know.

As far as Audi, I have heard good things about Queensway Audi www.queenswayaudi.com

Not that I imagine you'd be looking in Barrie (45 mins north of Toronto), but DO NOT GO TO AUTOHAUS BARRIE. The Service Department is great and sales rep Peter Semch is fabulous but the overall dealership management is HORRIBLE. If you do bring your car in there, look out for the owner, if you didn't buy a car there he will treat you badly and call you expletive names.

    Rant mode off!

Good luck, welcome back, and join us on our drives!

Thanks for these tips (and the above of course) keep em coming.

I'm going to be based in downtown Toronto, but of course for car purchase I don't mind heading out far afield to find the right price+car combo. I'm so sad that my 360 can't be my daily driver anymore all year round... sigh.. the price of leaving California.

These guys don't service Ferrari's anymore since I left 5 years ago. Although there web site shows a bunch in the shop..those were my customers cars, and the photo's are seriously old. They never touched a Ferrari before or after, only for minor stuff. They still say I work there for crying out loud. They have only one licenced tech in there, that only has Subaru experience. Just thought I would let you guys know.

why not import your audi? it'll be cheaper then buying on here. Or buying one there and importing it here will be cheaper. Whomever is handling your ferrari should be able to do the same for a audi.

    Cheers!

We are bringing one car with us, but we are looking at a new Audi. After US taxes & import duty it's cheaper to just buy the car in canada.
