    I think the VIN is missing the last 4 digits.

    You might want to post the full VIN to help recover the car.

    Also, your stolen car ad says the color combo is "black/black" but the craigslist pictures show a "black/tan" car.

    Also, the license plate in the third craigslist picture shows something like "89 KV" but your ad says "904 KDA". Was that just an older picture of the car with a prior plate on it?

    The second pic on the Craigslist ad is a well-known Maranello pic... definitely not his. It's been around for years.

    I suspect he just searched pictures on Google of a black 550 and quickly stuck up the ad... perhaps under pressure/anxiety because his car has just been stolen.
