I went for a spin on dec 24th, the sun was out and roads clean. Nice picture Larry ! First time in 16 years to go for a spin on Christmas , imagine that , who said globally warming was a bad thing
I like global warming also. The polar bears can fend for themselves . They salted the roads this morning. That does it till spring. Thanks for the compliment on the pic. Cheers.
the problem is that although the weather is mild the blasted city is still laying down the salt emulsion on the roads nightly and this stuff gets everywhere in the chassis.
After last winter's mess, this is very welcomed by all car enthusiasts! Hopefully February is snowless!
I told my girlfriend: "I'm pro global warming, turn the gulf islands into the Caribbean!" She wants to make it into a T-shirt. I grew up in BC, born and raised. But did school in Ontario and lived there seven years. It wouldn't be a bad place, but winter ruins it!
Sure thats because its all contracted out and they make money from the city to spread that crap when they even feel remotely that it might snow or the roads freeze. That crap gets in you lungs too.
Very rare to pull cars out this time of year, but I couldn't resist to have them get some sunshine and fresh air. Will have to wait for a drive , but the driveway was good enough for today. Who would Have thought green grass, and black payment for February 1st Image Unavailable, Please Login
It rained like crazy last night. The roads are clean and with double digit temperatures today. Just completed an Italian tune up. That will make a drive in Dec, Jan & Feb Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Didn't your mom every tell you guys no one likes a BRAGGER There is 3' of snow here in Winnipeg and gas is only .69/litre. Hey big red do you know if the make snow tires for an 86 testarossa?
We just hit a new record today New record set for warmest February 3 in Toronto - Toronto - CBC News Forget the snow tires on the Testarossa, get a snow plow for the front of it
Thanks Big red, I'm very fortunate that I can pull the car out of storage and drive on winding paved roads for miles and see little or no traffic. With my drive yesterday, I saw one pick up truck and a guy driving his Harley with a girl on the back. They were also on the beach. She was looking at me and was surely thinking.... " wow, sitting down with heat and I won't have to wear these stupid snow pants and parka " lol
With the blistering deep freeze starting tonight, I guess we were lucky for a while. Turn those garage heaters up this weekend !
Larry, I have freezing rain over here .... Guess we will have to wait for El Niño to come back for March break
