Latest addition ... 458 Challenge

    Well ... last week was THE moment I had been waiting for since January. My 458 Challenge was delivered and joins the 599 GTO and the 612 Scaglietti. She may be the smallest of the 3 but she sure is the meanest of them all.

    What a car!!! Looks just perfect. Below are some pics of the delivery at the dealer. She was accompanied by 3 Lambo's (3 Aventadors) in the truck. Those Lambo's look massive compared to the 458C but she outruns them all :D

    I'm planning on posting more pictures in the future and I will share my driving experiences as time goes on. I've put a pretty attractive program together for this season. Won't race the car in a competition but will drive it on 8 occasions of which 3 times in Spa. More events may be added to the calendar. We will see.

    Shake down is foreseen on April 21st ... Can't wait for the first laps in this unbelievable machine. The sound is EPIC. At 3,500 rpm the windows of the Ferrari showroom almost cracked ;) and then to think that she revs all the way to 9,000 rpm.

    This is going to be one great year.

    So nice... She sits even lower than I thought ! Use it in good jhealth on the track , to improve you skills, and therefore have even more pleasure on the road !

    Question , I remember you saying the wheels being black ...

    I suppose she doesn't sleep at home? What are the arragements for keeping such a car: she stays over at the dealer who takes care of transport and maintenance in between use?

    Nice one M! Will you upgrade her with a livery or will it be "plain" red for the time being? I wish you many safe and speedy miles with the 458C! I hope to see it one day at Spa.

    It sure will be. In the wet it will be amazing as well ;)

    Thanks. She will be staying at the dealer and get plenty of tender love and care from all the mechanics when she is not used :D

    Thanks. Main colour will be red but some sponsors will be added soon. Will be white letters. I want to keep it in the colours of the Scuderia ;) Make sure to come say hello when you see me.

    Oh believe me ... I was tempted last week but didn't want to take the risk. One speed bump on the road and you are in trouble.

    Thanks. Great to hear both of you will be there for the shakedown on the 21st. Hopefully the weather will be as good as last time. Should be a great day. My Mrs. will be there as well so yours won't be alone this time ;)
