Thank's, yes, Patina. So many Cars where painted and like new. Keep the Originals as much as possible! I like it this way...
Back in the day it was. Then it was put away looking rough and seemingly poorly maintained. If someone wanted to put this car back into service, where it belongs, it would take a lot to bring it back up to spec. Safety equipment alone would be costly. When Greg says it looks rough, he says that from the viewpoint of putting the car back on track as opposed to a museum piece. Compare this to a car that was used back in the day and then continued to race, therefore receiving ongoing care to maintain it at a competitive level. Both mechanically and cosmetically. This is a race car, not a collector car. Patina most often means the owner could not afford to or chose not to maintain it in 'race-ready' mode. That means big $ to track it again. Compare this to a car that has been maintained at the highest level possible with a recent engine out service: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A lot of work and money to bring the Car back to Orig. challenge spec ! I agree the Car is good for Trackdays but not the Car for a Historic challenge Series!
