I bought an Amalgam 1:8 LaFerrari model about a year ago and I really love it. I have been thinking about building my collection further and wanted t get some feedback from others who own Amalgams. Does anyone who owns these models have an opinion on the Enzo, F40 and 288 GTO 1:8 models? The photos all look great, but I wasn't certain if they are all up the same (or even better) standards as the LaFerrari. Since I can't own the real cars, these models are the next best thing, but I am a real stickler for details. I would love to hear some comments.

I can't help with any info mate, but there are some owners on here that own the models you are asking about.

Do you have any pics of your LaFerrari you would like to share?

Definitely looks amazing man, thanks for the pics. :)

I would love to start a collection myself one day when I have $100K laying around to blow on the 1:8 Amalgam Ferrari 'super car collection'. :)

I received my 1:8 ENZO about 2 months ago. I think it's equal to my LaF model. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of their 1:8 scale models. Some say the 288's stick shift sits to high. I saw a pic, It does (I Guess) but wouldn't stop me from buying it.

Thanks for posting your pics. Nice collection. I had heard that the Enzo wasn't designed with opening parts and with the same detail as the newer models, like the LaFerrari, 288 GTO or F40. Is that true? If so, I may focus on the 288 GTO or F40 next.

You are correct on the ENZO. I never will take the pexiglass off so to me that option never mattered.

I just found there site this yr 2017. Would die for all the F40 versions and the 288GTO. BUT I have an extremely huge problem trying to collect nearly any 1:18 th. Prices of diecast are nuts threw the roof. You wealthy collectors are living one of my dreams. What drove prices of diecast up so high in say last five or more yrs. WHAT ????
