Regarding the new CMC Talbot-Lago models.......Nice pieces, and I was really looking forward to these, BUT..... once again, CMC has disappointed. Proving that they do NOT do proper, thorough research. Maybe they just don’t know how to or they just don't care? Yes, these models do look great, and yes they do have a lot of parts, but…..each model is flawed in terms of being accurate - correct model representations of specific cars. Some are more flawed than others. The only one that comes close is the race version (not shown above). Considering all of their claims, and with prices around $500. per model they should be accurate, which they are not.

If they had been more accurate I was prepared to buy three of them, but now I will only (begrudgingly) buy one, and that will be at a discounted price.

There is absolutely no excuse these days for poor research/flaws and a model company taking so much “artistic license.” I call that lazy and worse.

A lot of pictures at scale18.com by Ulf. BBR has an F40LM on display next to a 333SP.
Ottomobiles has announced another version of their 308 GTB/M, this time the red with blue Pioneer one.

Disappointed that not much at all was shown in the way of vintage Ferrari models. Same for Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and others. And almost all of the models being cranked out in China are being made to a low price point, cutting a lot of corners on detail, accuracy, and quality. Found only 2 newly announced (ones I did not already know about from announcements made over the past year) that I'll buy, and both were British cars. Yes, of course there is the new Amalgam line, but for several reasons, there is little if anything there for me. Oh well.... Looks like I will be saving a lot of money this year.

Ferrari wise not much exciting news for me, but I had the 1981 Porsche 936 on my wishlist for a while and BBR has one on display at this fair. I hope the price is right, otherwise I'll hold to see if TSM or Spark will release one.
Another Porsche I like is the 911 SC RS in Belga colours by Ottomobiles.

I would love to find a '72 Targa, but no one that I know makes them.

Pictures are within the threads. You have to look at first top of each to determine what thread is about - many have name of mfg. and if you also go back to older posts you will see the rest of them. They are there but you have to look.
