Does anyone have information on The plastic 1977 Polistil model made for the Toschi Liquer Co in Italy. It was a 1977 312 T2 F1 car with a bottle of Toccni "Nocino" and a bottle of Cherries I am looking for present value on same. The madel is large 1:6 scale

No idea, as I haven't seen one in some time. The earlier metal Toschi Ferrari F2 car from circa 1954 is worth several thousand

I imported these into the U.S. in the late 1970s. The original Italian version had one of the two bottles with some sort of alcoholic content which would have required more problems that I wished to deal with, so Toschi did my 100 with cherries in a non-alcoholic syrup. The original retail price was $100, and they were sold through the Ferrari Market Letter. Toschi later remaindered some thorough a dealer in Pennsylvania, with no bottles.

The most recent sale with which I am familiar was an example with a tear in the end flap of the outer box, good inner box, and perfect model and contents (although I'd hate to open those bottles after 30+ years). The sale price was under $500, and this sale took place within the past year or so.

I own an early 1954 F2 500 TOSCHI model, I bought it off a couple of italian guys at the Goodwood festival in 2002 for £300

At the time I didn't realise what I had bought

    Hi Guys,

I usually linger in the 308 and Mid-Atlantic sections. I have a pretty large collection of old F-1 and GT racing related stuff from the 70's and 80's, and my search brought me to this 4 year old thread.
I just bought a perfect one of these 1/6 312T2's at a swap meet with intact stickers, the box, and the plastic seat/steering wheel, and straps for the bottles, I paid $ 125 for it. I guess I did OK. I'd love to find the original bottle for it. I assume it is Toschi Noccio if anyone knows ??

EDIT: Found the info regarding the bottle higher in the thread after I had responded to the post. Doh !!

In Europe the value is around the same numbers.

The 500F2 is worth a lot more!

I have the car only, and there is one sitting near the receptionist at Ferrari of Ft;. Lauderdale, also without the bottles. I bought mine years ago at the chicago Ferrari show when it was combined with Strictly 43rd.

Here's my 500 F2 Toschi. This model was a personal gift from Enzo Ferrari to Pierre Marco, the general manager of the Bugatti factory in the 50's.
