    I commissioned Jim Mellick to do a sculpture of my English Black Labrador, Mac.

    He hand carved this life size "ghost dog" sculpture out of black walnut with inlays of copper.

    I haven't seen it yet, but I am very excited to have it soon.

    Here are some pictures he sent me tonight. The sculpture ships out next week.

    Mitt and Ann Romney have one of their Weimaraner done by Jim also.

    Outstanding work, that is truly masterful!

    I also like that mural on the side of the house...for a quick second I thought you lived on the beach!!!

    Just wanted to share a picture of similar things.
    Strong storms took out lots of trees this summer and one badly damaged tree was carved honoring this family's dog. Wish I could have got the dog in the picture the resemblance is amazing.
