Awesome. Best of luck. I subscribed to the thread. Make it worth it! Your cars alone would make the worst garage incredible.
What a tease!!!!! Gotta put a little meat on that bone! I'm in the design stage right now and would love some ideas. Good luck!
the contractor says 4 months, but we're in the midwest, so weather is always a factor this time of year.
Plug this idea in your plate of options. Install floor drains and provide a ceiling track guided poly vinyl curtain that you can retract into a recess in the wall. This will allow you to wash your car in the garage. It's an idea I've used on a few designs.
The plans have changed a lot over the last year, but here is the final version Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Now that is a garage - what is the floor going to be finished with - I put red flakes in my beige epoxy then finished it with clear coats with gold metal flake - has held up well over the last two years Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What's the latest Randy?? Better hustle getting the walls framed and roof up before your snow makes its way to town!
Randy, what a great plan. I wish I had the space (and the budget)! Do you know of Garage Journal? It is very focused, friendly forum on garages, with discussiona on floors, electricals, lifts, tool cabinets, storage, aother garage-related topics. The posts are very helpful and instructive. I enjoy it. There is also a garage gallery there that has threads on garage builds. You might want to open a thread on your garage, Garage Journal was pointed out to me here in FChat. Here is the link: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/ I hope the weather hasn't disrupted your schedule. It loooks like it is going to be a great garage. Andy
