    I recall a member on here spray a waterproof product on the top of his spider, but I have not been able to find the post... has onyone here done the same? I want to spry my top, but I dont want to use the wrong product..

    I used Raggtopp cleaner, followed by their protectant. It beaded up water all summer. Make sure you get the ones for canvas tops, as they also make ones for vinyl

    do you think it will damage the top? someone said it might not breathe if sprayed with the waterproofer..? might get dry rot?

    I use Raggtop on my 930 turbo Cab it works perfectly and easy to apply with a foam brush. Usually apply once a year. It says it will not hurt the paint but I make sure.

    If my memory serves, linseed oil and candle wax with a heat gun. The ratio is to the consistency of the "waterproofing".

    Is your retractable soft top on your automobile leaking?
