like everybody else, i have sticky buttons. i have had some luck with just using nail polish remover and qtips to clean up a lot of parts. it works fine but leaves a dull finish - but i can live with that. the annoying thing is that on buttons with a graphic, the graphic is lost. i think somebody on here recently said they had found a source for stickers that had the graphics printed on them, and you could then just stick those on the buttons in question..... was i dreaming or is this really an option.?
Do not dip them on acetone for any longer than 5-10 min. What woks best is engine degreaser; purple stuff.
Thanks, Bruce Hi Ross - send me an email, or give me a call if you wish to discuss our refinishing services. Many threads here that showcase our work BTW - we don't use decals - our graphics are laser etched 716-553-6130 My best, Dave
I can attest that Dave's work and products are some of the best ever seen. Better than oem and will last for future resale...
