    Fascinating article:

SPEEDWEEK Formel 1 - US-GP in Austin: Das ist die Formel 1 wert

The company Formulamoney calculated the value of exposure Austin got through the GP and published its report. The article lists some of the major findings:
    - 376 million US is the value of exposure Austin got through both GPs
    - 185 million US was the value for the 2nd GP, 191 million for the first.
    - The small step down from the 2nd to the 1st race shows that the race is very popular in the overall calendar, which is also reflected in the audience numbers.
    - 2nd time on raceday had 113,162 fans, which is more than the Sunday numbers of the Monaco, Germany and Bahrain combined.
    - 2nd time all three days there were 250,324 fans combined. Only Silverstone, Singapore and Montreal have bigger numbers.
    - Also the exposure of the team sponsors was huge with 140 million US

I'm sure the Governor gets the full report accompanied by a friendly letter from Bernie. :)

All kidding aside, this is great news for the future of the US GP.

That's indeed interesting. Thanks for posting this. Hopefully Jersey keys in to this as well.

Problem with Jersey is that NY doesn't need any additional exposure. It already is a tourist destination
