    That won't fix the fact that the new formula has the cars running circa 4-6 seconds slower per lap.

    I've been watching the old F1 seasons again from 2000 onwards.

    Watched the 2003 Indy GP yesterday. What a race. The noise. The speed. Everything was awesome.

    I had a sad afterwards.

    That's about what they were expecting with the reduced downforce & wooden tires.... Reign them in every few years and make them work to claw it back. These things have much more potential to go quicker than the dinosaurs they've left behind......

    This may come back to haunt me, but I'm gonna say they'll be as quick as previously by the end of the year - With 30% less fuel, more weight and 'hard' tires.

    As I've said before, they're at last pushing the envelope again.
