Just thought I would mention that this Sunday the Velocity Channel (channel 281 on Direct TV) will be airing "Hunt vs Lauda: The Rivalry" as well as "Senna". Although I have Senna on dvd I have never seen the hunt vs Lauda documentary.

    My pleasure. :)

I searched before I posted and saw no mention so there you go and at least we can get some F1 in this weekend considering the long three week down time until the next race. I must see if the "Hunt vs Lauda" is available on DVD.

If it's the same one I reviewed a few months ago, and I think it is, it's available on Amazon. Great film, imho.

I already had the uncut version of "Senna", but I don't think I'd DVR'd the Hunt vs Lauda show before.

I love the part where they put the "Caution: Wide Vehicle" sticker on the McLaren after the scrutineering controversy. :D

That was a season where you wanted them both to win.

Thanks much for the post. Would never have seen the show otherwise. It was definitely worth the time - particularly after seeing Rush previously.

Hunt vs Lauda was a good documentary with the actual drivers instead of a movie depicting them. It was good to hear Nikki currently speak about Lauda back in the day.

Of course, the Senna film was terrific.

I missed this the first go around. Just checked and Velocity is showing again the next three days. Odd hours of the morning but that's what DVR's are for. Looking forward to watching.

It is rather good. If you've seen the movie RUSH you won't really learn anything. But it's still good none the less.
