Steve AKA Kraftwerk wants all his friends here to know that he is recovering nicely from surgery. A couple of weeks ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Fortunately it wasn't one of the very nasty sort and earlier this week he underwent a twelve hour procedure that removed an egg sized growth proximate to his pituitary. The surgeon was confident that he removed the entire mass and subsequent scans have confirmed that. He's expected to return home by the end of the week and the prognosis appears extremely positive. He's not sure when he'll be up to posting here but wanted you folks updated. I'll post any further updates as they come.
I'll relay all your wishes tomorrow. He sent an after picture but I won't post it until he says something to pizz me off.

I've forwarded a link to this thread but I'm not sure that he's up to much at this point. Needless to say he's greatly relived but sedated and not at full facilities yet.
Was he ever? Glad he's OK. The size of an egg? There'll be nothing left! Should have no effect on him.

There's some speculation that it might have been having an averse effect on his personality. Can we really handle a kinder, gentler Steve?
