Actually, I thought that shirt & jacket looked pretty sharp. Certainly better turned out than many of the jocks that get invited there....... Cheers, Ian
I guess i'm getting too old. but when you are invited to any country's leaders home ... you dress appropriately... for a Western man - suit & tie.

Agreed. And isn't that a type of tux? He looks like a conductor. Are conductors tux's not professional or gentlemanly enough?
Comparing him to Branson does not excuse the lack of attire. I'm not trying to "dig" on anyone, but it seems to me that a tie is appropriate for evening wear... even it its one of those long ties rather than a bow tie.... the lack of it makes him look like some kind of NJ kid at prom.... Even P diddy gets that you wear a tie in a tux.... when you have all the money like Hamilton does, go out and get someone who knows how to dress you and look like a Million bucks - not like some cheseey waiter...
Forgive me but it does sound like you are nit-picking. Besides what's wrong with him he looks casual smart. Ok you may have a point if he was wearing sunglasses, or a baseball cap on backwards and T shirt, but he wasn't. What your actually saying is, he cannot be taught, but it can be bought...
