Of course everything is still unofficial but almost a given at this point and 2016 is close Bianchi was the favourite sadly but alternatively I could see Hulkenberg Rosberg Perez In this order, or Ricciardo, but doubt Vettel would welcome him after getting smoked this year
Alonso. He will be available again in 2016 after another fight with Ron. Now seriously: with Bottas somewhat linked to Mercedes, Pérez or Hulkneberg would be the most obvious choices.
Strewth! - have you been blowing the froth off a couple of cold ones? The guys too tall and too heavy!
Button if mclaren end up letting him go. Was an article stating the other day that kimi may be staying at ferrari beyond 2016. Heaven hope not
Carlos sainz jr, bottas, or pinch ricciardo! If we want a laugh, max chilton! I like the idea of Carlos to see what he could do in a f1 car, or give Bruno senna a run, he can't have forgotten how to drive and in everything but f1, the guy had talent
Alonso going to Honda for one year, then Mercedes in 2016. I'd pair Vettel with Ricciardo. At least then there'd by one decent driver in the team.
Please no..... Not hambone, he'll have all the team upset within a few minutes with his constant whining .......... He hasn't got enough class to drive for the scuderia. I'd rather give ginger beard somewhere to waste a year than have the disruption of hambone in the team
How do we know Vettel is going to Ferrari? Rumors can be based on truth from those who tell family members, who tell friends, and word spreads, or they can be just rumors. What if Vettel is going to replace Hamilton at Mercedes, and Hamilton is going back to Mclaren? We really don't know.... Ferrari's best bet is to try to get a hold on a torro rosso driver, those guys have always done well when promoted so far.
It was stated by Horner that way. As he was informed by Vettel before that he would leave I would be very surprised if Vettel did not tell him where he is going. After working together for several years in success I doubt that Vettel just said good bye without any comments...So I think (although not officially released) it is not a secret anymore. As for the question who will replace Raikkonen: I doubt that Ferrari will fire Raikkonen for a second time because this would make them look stupid. So my guess would be that they keep Raikkonen for the rest of his contract (2015?) and then they can decide what to do. Especially after Bianchi is not available they could use the next year to see the development on the drivers market.
That would be an interesting pairing. On the face of it, I'd say Lewis would make minced meat of him. But the last couple of times I've said that, I've been completely wrong. I also thought Vettel would make minced meat of Daniel.......I was wrong then too. So basically, I have no idea what I'm talking about, but it would still be an interesting pairing.
