Actually, in this season Hamilton is his own worst enemy. I´m not going to be too much specific to avoid the spoilers, but yesterday he pushed too hard without needing it. See, even in a innocuous thread like this I managed to stir the s**t.
I agree as in yesterday he pushed too hard, but you argue he has got himself into a position that he can afford to push like that, (risky as it is) he got lucky he didn't smash his car that I will say. He has had too push hard for most of the season playing catch up to Nico, mainly because of no fault of his own but due to car reliability not being the best, compared to Nico's. Thanks for the thread Pete, but yer know I find it odd you were complaining about Hamilton threads n posts, yet you have again created another ... and I thought we already had a containment thread for Ham v Nico bashing n all zat

I did some research and this has been a consistent factor in Lewis's career. Must be really bugging him by now that Hamilton continues to have the edge, no matter what series they star in. Will be interesting to see it play out but I'd put my money on Hamilton. Pete

The race card was played well with this one. Here's a colored kid with his go kart that's now making an impact. The tattoos and earrings add a bit of youth and pizzazz to a rather tight ass sport. I still don't think I'll ever be able to get into flat brim hats though.

Why is he sports personality of the year? Suddenly saying his friend of many years is not a friend at all, despite much evidence that they where friends (and subsequently saying that they are good friends again, then not, then again...), accusing others of cheating and other things that have happened this year. Why not the ever smiling Ricciardo, or either one of the Williams drivers or Rubens Barrichello (unsure if he raced though).

Suffering so much adversity with his car failing him many times and his team mates dirty tactics. Holding that all together and still being mentally strong to come back and absolutely thrash his team mate...fighting from the back of the pack to win and even though he has a good car, always extracting the maximum from it. 6 wins in last 7 races and scoring double the point tally of his team mate in that period to totally turn around the championship. Easily deserved award imo.
you know, if you take out the race he DIDN'T win out of that 7, Lewis won 100% of the races. How superior is that?
Unfortunately he made a mistake which cost him the win and allowed nico to hold on by the skin of his teeth. Can be harder on tracks where the only passing opportunities are on the straights also. That Way nico can mask his inferior racecraft by relying on the straight line speed of his car to stay ahead
I actually don't know how Nico managed to out qualify or beat lewis at any time with that superiority. Maybe Lewis felt sorry for Nico and did him the occasional favour.
Nico is quick over one lap. His rwcecraft and race pace are lacking. Nothing new here. Fail to see why you're still confused.
