... Autosprint now reporting Ferrari's 2015 F1 entry, internally known as project 666, in deep-deep trouble, next two heads slated for Ferrari's 2014 chopping block become:

    1). Pat Fry -
    2). Nikolas Tombazis -

These two heads should have rolled, a long time ago -- asj.

They need to clean house and get to rebuilding the team for 2016
Current engine rules will give them No chance of WCC in 2015
and to top it the Aero results for 2015 don't look too good - Just IMO

Firing everyone will make no sense. Instead, hire key people and go from there. The fat that needs to be cut will be obvious then.

Engine rules are quite lax, I think 96% of the engine can be changed for 2015. They'll at least be on par with the mercs or within a **** hair in any case.

Aero results for 2015? I don't have access to that, so can't make an opinion.

Tombazis and fry are competent, this Is the organisation who failed.
Mattiaci and marchionne are resolving that.
    Remember aldo Costa ..

The car doesn´t even exist and it almost has a "sucks thread".

    Are we overreacting a bit?

    I'd say so!

Very much doubt the aero configuration is even done yet either; they'll be playing in the tunnel & computers, but nothing is yet 'cast in stone'. And they certainly won't be talking about it anyway.

Wild speculation at best; Don't we seem to get these threads this time of year every year? Kind of our own 'silly season'...... Wasn't that long ago that many were calling for Costa's head, now he's seen as a genius. Fry & Tombazis? Not quite sure what to make of them, but they're both vastly experienced at the least.

    Cheers,
    Ian

What bad is there was talk about ferrari running front wing and other bits this week end . Another thing that looks bad is kimi coming out and saying 2015 car looking good like he would know

Kimi is putting in a lot of work to make sure the car will be to his liking, so from that standpoint...I'm sure it's looking good. No one knows for sure until Q2 Australia 2015.

I've got faith in Kimi, James Allison and Vettel. Should be a good team.

Ferrari is screwed. First of all they let their biggest asset leave. Vettel will take time to adjust and he's a step or two below Alonso's level anyway. That alone makes me think that Marchionne and Mattiaci clearly don't know **** about Formula One. The FIA isn't looking out for them anymore and next year's car is already in trouble. Dark days ahead.

Wild speculation indeed. Far too soon to say anything, but I believe next year will be the beginning of a rebirth for this team. Fry is no dummy.

Surely James can only influence so much as the car must have been a long way down the design path before he started?

He arrived there already in mid 2013, and at that point the project was not even started. Although he was not given free reign till Mattiacci arrived, so maybe it´s not 100% his car.

Hamilton was an idiot for going to Mercedes. Remember those days? Prognostication on these subjects makes for good entertainment when the season is about over and fans seek drama they can't achieve in the off season watching races. I don't even care for popcorn.

As Jim Glickenhaus is fond of saying: "I remain hopeful." :)

Oh, now, that's a bit pessimistic...

There always has been a component of self-hatred in our little Ferrari community.

Some journo reports that Honda is behind schedule. Ferrarichat analysis: no problem, they´ll be at the top.

Some joruno reports that the Ferrari 666 has problems. Ferrarichat analysis: it´s true, the end is coming.

Not that it can´t happen. But we´ll see.

No one at Ferrari thought that naming a car after the sign of the devil might not be the best idea?
