RoGro to stay at Lotus

His other option was of course to leave F1; seeing as there is pretty much nothing available. Pretty easy choice then.

 

Good for him. Lotus has shown to be clever and very innovative. With some cash and the Mercedes PU they might be a decent team again next year.

 

Cash is exactly what Lotus doesn't have, and the team suffer from lack of funding.
Lopez is one of the most vociferous advocate to review the FOM/CVC cash pot redistribution system and has made his impatience known.
One hopes Lotus can pay its engine quicker next year; Mercedes may not be as patient as Renault was.
I wouldn't bet for this team still being around in five years time.

 

They where innovative when they still had James Allison...so far this year they've improved not once. They started **** and remained ****.

With their antics of not paying their staff, plenty of cash problems, jumping the gun on investments/sponsorships that never came...It's not a team many people will want to go to right now, and those people are exactly what they need.
