What do you guys do/observe in the off season?

    Just out of curiosity as this is one of the more vocal and active brand boards in re to Formula 1 season, how do you guys stay entertained during the off season? I don't really get into shows, this is actually really weird to me and people I talk to. A few USA shows were pretty entertaining. Ray Donnovan and Penny Dreadworth too for a bit. Point being is I spend A LOT of time in front of a computer and I just saw my first commercial for LillyHammer. Thinking it was a new program after only to realized it premiered in 2012. This type of medium isnt exactly something you can pick up on the go as much as they'd like you to think. I don't know anyone that watches shows on their phone like they'd have you believe. While this can be interpreted fairly vaguely let's keep it simple by listing your top three, not necessarily in any order. Doesn't have to be competition based just anything that strikes you entertainment wise, whether on TV or print. While this is partly for research, I am genuinely interested in the community and good conversation with like minded people.

    For me when on/relaxing and I'm not preoccupied it's,

    1) Print publications, Maxim, Mens Health, WineSpectator, BetterHomes, XXL Rolling Stone
    2) Golf WinterXGames/Football/Basketball - specifically - Ski/Snowboard and NYJs & BKNs - yes I know, they both blow.
    3) While I haven't been as much as I'd like to as of recent, the movie theater. There's nothing like a bag of popped corn with too much butter and a fountain soda. Doesn't really matter to me the movie as much as the theater.

    NBA keeps me pretty entertained as do NFL playoffs. Not much into college bowl games or college basketball outside of the championship games and March Madness.

    Repair, clean, nassage something on the car every week. Last week did the trunk,books,tools. This week washed t he removable carpets.next week begin doing interior leather one section at a time. As a side note I wish I got more car coverage from the southern hemispheres. GTS Bruce

    If I was in the United States, then the NHL would keep me entertained. Unfortunately, the cost of subscriptions here to be able to view any hockey games at all is prohibitive. Most of Europe, and Scotland in particular, is utterly obsessed with football (aka soccer) instead.

    As it is... I just curl up into a little ball and weep until F1 starts again.

    Drink coffee, put my annual skiing trip on hold (waiting for my nut to repair), play-write music, polish red beast (all the nooks and crannies), wind aircon up, go in to attic crap myself at the amount of stuff up there, find some xmas decs, put some tinsel up, put some twinkly lights up, wind Aircon up, see what jokes me mate D viz sent me, wind Aircon up, drink more coffee, bollox s, this whiskey going into it, and so on ...:)
